Our relationship has been filled with love, laughter, and, like any other, its fair share of challenges. We knew early on that we wanted to build our relationship on a strong foundation.
And for us, that foundation is our faith. We connected with Pat and Jess (of GCM) early on in our relationship for guidance. Not only did they help us understand the true meaning of a
Christ-centered relationship but they also embodied the love of Christ through their marriage.
Communication and prayer are the two main key components they drilled into our brains. Pat and Jess taught us the importance of communication. And not just talk, but really listen to each other. It made such a difference in how we connect. They emphasized the power of prayer, together, and for each other.
They showed us the real, the good, bad, and ugly—something most of us can say we’ve never had true authentic examples of. They helped us navigate difficult times, offering biblical wisdom and practical advice. They showed us that it’s okay to seek help and that doing so can make our bond even stronger. And with their guidance, we made it to the altar, not just as two individuals, but as a united couple ready to face life’s journey together.
We’re beyond grateful for the role GCM (Pat and Jess) play in our journey. Their support and teachings were invaluable in helping us build a marriage rooted in faith, love, and respect.
